    2010 - 01.11

Today I had access to the repository and committed the last bug fix of the XMLLib. I would like to thank himitsu for his bug report and testing. The actual version should be stable and bug free now. I will try to finish the LCDHype VFD plugin rework the next days to get some more time for actualising the AFC project. Up to now the project has slept for a long time and I collected many things to correct and/or change. Even the circuit plan has still some bugs and needs to be updated. Both software releases need to be updated (client & firmware) to fullfill all requirements of the customer (2nd night phase, increasing EMC-safe, inductor missing at analog voltage supply, etc). The client software needs to be updated to raise from the low level communication test application to a usable application. The temperature history needs to be read by the client and published in a proper temperature diagram. The customer wishes a light control by communicating with the chokes of the lights. This project can be realised by another new project, but I would prefer to combine it with the AFC. The actual first design and working prototype can be upgraded by adding an USB port for communication and choosing a bigger AVR controller. The moon light and light control can be combined to get a new aspect of controlling. Maybe RF controlled clock can be added to get a better standalone performance. But this are future plans and up to know I need to get the actual implementation fully running. After this it can get this new trunk adding light control, etc. For now the LCDHype driver needs to be completed.
